Holocene

Holocene is a copenhagen based creative trio consisting of Flook L. Nielsen, Leonard Rääf and Mathias Skaarup Schmidt.

Their sensitive lensing and use of available light creates an immersive visual world which leave the audience with the feeling that they have just witnessed an intimacy rarely achieved in the medium of the moving image. Holocene´s technique creates authentic feeling dialogue and their use of 35mm and 16mm film stock and mixed media gives their work a timelessness that couldn’t feel more now.
